MAD Wurks Ackermann Plates for Single Post Steering Rack Conversion Mi9 (2)

Schumacher Mi9 drivers, including team drivers, have been testing a new single post steering rack setup. The one piece missing from this conversion was an ackermann adjustment. Details below on other parts needed for this conversion.

After drivers tested several different ackerman settings, we went with a 0 offset and a +1 offset. The +1 can be flipped to provide a fwd or back position to give you a total of up to 2mm of ackermann adjustment with these plates.

Benefits of single post steering:

• More direct feel
• Less slop than a dual post steering rack
• Less scrub mid corner
• Less steering input needed
• Front tire wear improved especially outdoors
