Typographical Errors

Return Policy
Discount RC Store retains the exclusive and sole right as to whether an item may be returned, exchanged or order cancelled. Discount RC Store thus encourages customers to use caution when placing an order, as once placed the order can not be cancelled, nor the item returned or exchanged unless Discount RC Store expressly consents. In order to obtain a refund or exchange, prior approval must be given by Discount RC Store. Please email for a return authorization form [email protected]. Generally, Discount RC Store will consider returns within thirty (30) days of purchase. Refunds are for the cost of product only; shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Due to their product nature, Discount RC Store can not accept returns of factory sealed products which have been opened or removed from packaging in any way. Electronics are non-returnable and if defective would revert to the manufacturers warranty coverage. Most items Discount RC Store sells are covered by a manufacturer warranty and all manufacturer warranties are handled directly by the manufacturer of the product. Returns are subject to restocking fees up to but not exceeding 20% of the total purchase price plus our incurred cost of shipping, if shipped under free delivery.
Shipping Policy
We make every effort to process and ship orders as fast as possible. MOST orders will ship within 24-48 hours (during regular business hours, we are closed on Saturday and Sunday) of being placed. Please be aware of this and plan accordingly. Higher volume times such as the Christmas season etc can take longer.
For UPS a business day does not include Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.
Example: You ship a package on Monday that takes 2 business days to arrive. You do not count the day you ship as a business day, so your package would arrive on Wednesday, the second business day after the ship date.
Discount RC uses UPS and United States Postal Service for all domestic shipments within the continental U.S. Please note, UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes. Normal shipping times can be checked with this chart. Orders received by 3 pm, Eastern Standard Time should be delivered to the following states by the days indicated. Days stated do not include weekends or Holidays. These dates include order processing, packing, and handling times.

Free Shipping PolicyFree Shipping applies only to those shipments that qualify (over $50 and contain no excluded products ( LARGE or unusually HEAVY ITEMS - normally noted under the
availability section of each item), or SPECIAL ORDERS ( ie: any product not normally listed on site)) and will be shipped using the weight appropriate USPS Service to U.S. addresses only. Large or heavy items will ship at the listed FLAT RATE option given during check out regardless of order value. Free Shipping does not apply to International or any premium shipping services (USPS Priority, Express, Over Night etc) that may be available.PARTIAL SHIPMENTS:
We make every effort to ship all products in a single shipment. If, for any reason, we cannot ship one or more items due to back order, we will ship the parts that are available and credit your account accordingly. If a small item (most parts) from a large order (complete car, truck, or boat kits) cannot be shipped, credit may only be for the part without an adjustment in shipping. This is because shipping charges is based on the dimensions of the box. We will contact you if the part is back ordered to verify if you are willing to wait for the back ordered part to ship.
CANCELLING ORDERS:
You may cancel an order within 24 hours of the order being placed. Cancellation of orders already being processed by our shipping department will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee based on the total amount of the order. We cannot cancel orders that are already packed and/or shipped. If your order has already been shipped by the time we receive your cancellation request, you must go through the return process and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refusal of the shipment from the carrier will result to a two-way shipping charge. We strongly recommend that you accept the merchandise and then proceed through our normal return process. Refunds can take 1-10 business days to post to your account depending on YOUR bank, our processing will be done by the next business day, but some banks take longer than others. Those orders using PayPal will be refunded back through PayPal minus any fees associated with the processing of the original payment - full details here
Any 'Special Ordered' or 'Pre-Ordered' items or those acknowledged by you as out of stock at the time of purchase by selecting "I want to back order" on the product's page will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee .. We may at our discretion offer a coupon code for the full amount of the refund to be used on a future order.
We are unable to refund any orders that are over 60 days old. No exceptions.
RECEIVING PARTS:
Please inspect the parts immediately after receiving your order. Damages and evidence of tampering on the outer packaging must be noted on the delivery receipt of the driver. DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 48 HOURS of receiving the order. No exceptions WRONG ITEMS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY of receiving the order. No exceptions
INCORRECT PARTS:
Although we do everything we can to get the right part to you, unusual mistakes can happen. If we ship the wrong part, we will pick it up and replace it. Please let us know immediately if you receive the wrong part by calling our Customer Service at 269.262.4339 or email at [email protected]. The replacement item will be shipped when we receive the wrong item. Replacements will be shipped based on the original shipping method.
LOST PACKAGE POLICY
On the rare occasion that a package is lost in transit, either by United States Postal Service (USPS) or UPS , we reserve the right to wait up to 30 days from the inquiry or trace date to determine if the package is actually lost. Discount RC will not hold the purchaser's funds any longer than necessary. However, we need to follow proper postal procedures to determine if the package was signed for by another person, stolen or lost. We will either replace the order or refund the entire purchase price (at our discretion) unless proof of delivery can be obtained (i.e. the package shows delivery confirmation and/or was signed for). Once the package is successfully delivered, we are not responsible for theft or damage to the merchandise. When using a forwarding company, we are not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise after the forwarding company has accepted delivery. If a package is delivered damaged or is missing products that were shipped you MUST contact the shipping company and Discount RC within 24 hours so we can initiate a claim with the shipping carrier who will inspect the package to determine how to proceed with the claim. Money for lost packages will not be refunded unless the above procedure is followed.
RETURNING A PART:
If for any reason you don't like or don't want something you purchased from Discount RC, you may return New and Unused merchandise within 30 days for refund or store credit at a restocking charge of 10 to 20% depending on the amount of products returned; other types of refunds are subject up to a 20% restocking fee. We do not accept returns on defective merchandise which is covered by the manufacturers warranty. Please contact the manufacturer of the product for warranty coverage. We do not accept returns on electronics or items that have been used in any way.
Please note that some manufacturers will not honor warranty claims for customers outside of the USA and Canada (HPI, in particular).
International USPS Delivery Times:
IMPORT TAX: You may have to pay an IMPORT TAX upon receiving the package. This tax is charged by YOUR COUNTRY - NOT US. You are importing goods into your country, so it is YOUR responsibility to pay all applicable taxes. Again - we cannot be held responsible for knowing the laws of your country. If an import tax is required, USPS will collect it before delivering the package.
To protect against credit card fraud, we MUST ship all credit card orders to the BILLING ADDRESS of the credit card. If you place an order with us to ship to a different country from the billing address on the card, we will NOT ship the order.
USPS Priority Mail International
Delivery usually in 6-12 business days, tracking is available to major destinations. While most packages are delivered within 6-12 business days, in rare instances, delays of up from 60 to 90 Days have been experienced once the package has left the United States due to events beyond our control (such as weather or processing time in customs). Delivery times are not guaranteed.(If your order has not arrived after 30 days, we will need to file an inquiry form with the USPS. That usually takes 30 days to process. If the USPS doesn't find the lost package an insurance claim will then be filed with the USPS which could take 30-90 additional days to process. Replacement orders will not be sent out until the inquiry and claim process is complete.) Packages with Value exceeding 300.00 are insured at no additional cost to the customer. Packages under $300.00 are not insured unless you contact us to add insurance to your package which will incur additional charges. We are not responsible for uninsured packages which are lost or damaged in transit.
USPS Express Mail International

Placing an International order
1. Add the items you want to purchase into your shopping cart by selecting "buy now" or "add to cart"
2. Select your country from the drop down list under shipping information.
3. Select your State/Province/Region from the drop down list. If your State/Province/Region is not listed leave this box blank and you will be able to enter the info on the following page by typing it manually.
4. Enter shipping zip code or postal code.
5. Select method of shipping. Currently these are your options UPS, USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Express Mail. USPS Express is traceable and typically faster. 'Free Shipping' is not available for any international shipment.
6. Select payment method from the drop down list.
7. Select "Next"
8. Enter all information requested on this form. For international orders billing address must match shipping address. You must also include the CVA code or the item will not be shipped.
